Virendra Sehwag mostly called as viru has achieved more than anyone else at all levels of the games. He is the only batsman in Indian cricket history to record triple century in Test cricket. He got his feet twice.

The Delhi-born cricketer has modeled his playing style of his idol Sachin Tendulkar. In 2004, he became the first Indian batsman to score a triple ton in an innings of a Test match.

He always used to score freely in the case of cricket, ODI or T20. He has the highest unemployment rate by far in Test cricket. Virendra Sehwag brilliance has no word to describe their rates of unemployment in test cricket are much better than other players who have played Test cricket. Sachin Tendulkar (12 917 runs at 54.73) has a 54.12 change course, Ricky Ponting (11400 runs at 55.88) scores at a rate of 59.41, Matthew Hayden (8625 runs at 50.73) got his in 60 , 10, and Brian Lara (11,953 runs at 52.88) to 60.51. Sanath Jayasuriya comes closest with a strike rate of 65.10, but his average is just over 40.

Early
Virender Sehwag was born on October 20, 1978 in New Delhi in a family of merchants. He developed a taste for the game of cricket in a very early age, and educated at the School Vidya in Delhi, where he began learning to play cricket seriously under the guidance of his coach AN Sharma.

He started playing for the Delhi cricket team for the year 1997-98, and played for North Zone in Duleep Trophy tournament in the year 1998-99. In 1999 he was selected for the National Under-19 cricket team India, and was elected to the national cricket team two years later.

One Day International (ODI) debut
The One Day International (ODI) Cricket's career began with Virender Sehwag played a match against Pakistan ODI in Chandigarh on April 1, 1999, despite facing only two balls of Shoaib Akhtar and got low birth weight out after scoring a run in this game. Two years later, scored 58 runs from 54 balls in an ODI match against Australia played at Bangalore to win his first man of the match award. It also took three wickets, giving away 59 runs in this match.

Test Debut
Sehwag made his debut in testing with a test cricket match against South Africa played in Bloemfontein on November 3, 2001. He played an impressive 105 runs in the first innings and 31 runs in the second half of the match innings, but took no wickets and gave 22 runs in the game.

He is known for making big scores, and the last 11 centuries have been marked more than 150 runs, surpassing the record Sir Donald Bradman to score seven centuries more than 150 races in a row.

The overall results
In general Cricket Test career until April 2009, Sehwag has played 69 test matches and has scored 5757 runs with 15 centuries and 18 half-centuries and an average of 50.06 runs and a highest score of 319 runs. It also took 29 wickets in these matches giving away 1265 runs, averaging 43.62 runs.

Sehwag also played 205 One Day International (ODI) matches, and scored 6592 runs in those matches with an average of 34.33 runs and a highest score of 130 runs. He has managed to grab wickets in 84 ODI matches, giving away 3531 runs at an average of 40.58 runs.

Delhi daredevils Captaincy
Virender Sehwag has been leading the team of Delhi daredevils in the Indian Premiere League 2009, as he was the captain of the team last year too. Under his leadership, Delhi daredevils have beaten the Kings XI Punjab in the 20 st century in the match played April 19, 2009 in Cape Town by 10 wickets. Due to the rains, the objective of Delhi daredevils had only 54 runs of 6 credits, and succeeds in 4.5 overs. Sehwag contributed by scoring 38 runs (not out) off just 16 balls to get his team to victory in his first IPL match in 2009.
